Story Times for all ages are offered regularly throughout the year. Story Times provide a variety of language and early literacy experiences for parents and children. Download Story Time Helps (pdf).
Mother Goose Story Time
A program for infants and toddlers up to 18 months that includes stories, nursery rhymes, songs, language games and play. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are encouraged to help the child participate in the activities at a developmentally appropriate level. Parents and children can spend time socializing before or after the program.
Stories and songs for children 19 months to 3 years of age and their caregiver.
Stories and Stretches
Stretch your body and mind with this story time which includes movement and stretches. Ages 2-5.
Investigation Stations – Ages 3-5
Children and parents participate in group activities, including stories, music, and games followed by hands-on activities at the stations. Parents participate with their children to expand on the experiences and connections presented at the stations. Books, materials and activities are also available for families to use at home. The Investigation Stations are open for use by parents and children during regular library hours. Registration is required for activity groups due to limited space.
Rainbow Story Time
In Rainbow Story Time we will read picture books that include LGBT themed stories, being different and belonging, being unique and being accepted, and participate in crafts.
